Background story:

The girl and her parents have been to the towncentre for some grocery shopping and an icecream and are now strolling around the harbour. The girl is looking curiously at what the old fisherman is doing. Suddenly the fisherman fishes up an old bottle, turns to the girl and hands it to her. "Here, I believe this is for you."
The parents have no attention for the child and may or may not be aware of the fisherman. I would like to leave this open to the imagination.
