Finland celebrates 100 years of independence in 2017.
Mosaic floor.
Kolmården marble from Sweden and Carrara marble from Italy were used as floor materials and in staircases.

Noise reducing sugar cane tiles for the ceiling of the Plenary Hall were brought from Australia.

Statues in the Plenary Hall by sculptor Wäinö Aaltonen. The series Työ ja tulevaisuus (Work and future) includes five sculptures: Raivaaja, Henkinen työ, Tulevaisuus, Usko ja Sadonkorjaaja (Settler, Intellectual Work, Future, Faith and Harvester).
