For this project we were asked to produce a sketchbook of work with a range of design ideas according to your theme based on a topic of culture, I focused on Glasgows music scene. We were to present 10 final pieces that were on 10 different substrates 3 of which had to be fabrics. For the majority of this project I used the process of screen printing. Screen printing is a printing technique where you use a mesh covered screen to transfer ink onto a substrate except in areas that aren't penetrable due to emulsion. I also did a A6  lino print which I printed 4 times to achieve the required size of A4 which I thought was interesting and gave a good effect that was different to my screen prints.
