Last week, I had first begun the Shape Scape quest. This was the first week I was able to experiment with all the different available files, and see what I could come up with. In this particular example, I first turned the image into a smart object and changed with the filters in camera raw. Then, I duplicated the file with the (command J) shortcut I learned. In the second layer, I once again went into camera raw, but this time edited the photo differently so that the colors became blue and purple, instead of pink like the first. Next I lowered the opacity so that the pink layer could be seen underneath as well. I then used the transform tool to rotate the 2nd layer 180 degrees. This created a very unique look because the images no longer were exactly on top of each other, so it created a new overlap of the shapes. Finally, I created an identical layer once again, but this time to the second layer, and then used the find outlines tool. After using the outlines tool a couple times, I decreased the opacity so the other layers could be seen as well. I was really pleased with the outcome, and I learned a lot in the process.
