A tiny paperback with eleven illustrations that were created with random words, association and my mood.
The project started with my unhealthy perfectionism. So I set myself some rules. No more than an hour a drawing, black and white and a random word. For me this was an exercise to learn that you can be happy with an illustration that isn't perfect. That it doesn't always has to be esthetic, and that I am allowed to make mistakes. The drawings illustrates my own mental health during this project.
The whole idea was that other people, artists, can recognize them self in these illustrations. Who hasn't had lost their energy during the day, had a head full of thoughts and worry to much, or just has a day filled with dark thoughts.
In the end, I was really pleased with the outcome of the illustrations, although they aren't what I usually would draw. To end this series I made an paperback as an limited edition.
