Memory in Time

How can our personal experiences in a city inform the impression of a city?
These series of maps reflect the tracking of my footprint in Chicago.
Each dot symbolizes a significant place in the city that is memorable to me.
As the shapes unfold, a new space (my space) is formed within a place (Chicago),
reflecting the scope of my footprint over the course of 6 years. You will see
that as the shapes progress my footprint expands illustrating my familiarity within
this place. Together, these shapes embody my memories of the city.
