Unblock the Writer
I took up Journalism & Public Communications in college. I've always been fascinated with words, and the art of stringing them together. What I hated? The dreaded writer's block and how it really got in the way of getting work done.

One of my professors told us that good writing often came after we "coughed out" the bad or unnecessary writing first. That meant one of two things. Either we had to write a couple of paragraphs that ultimately had to be edited out later on, or try and write something completely random in order to warm up.

The second option, at least to me, yielded the best results. I find that my best work comes out when I introduce some form of play into it. So, I kept a list of writing prompts to use whenever I needed it.  I then decided to create a site, inviting others to try and flex their writing muscles, too.
The original site is now defunct, but I managed to salvage 101 prompts, and loaded them onto a new site: http://anydaycreative.com/writer/
As a kid, I also dreamed that I would someday create a board game. (My cousin Bebe and I were convinced that Milton Bradley's MB logo was a sign that one day there would be a Mikko-Bebe board game company, too.)

I conceptualized these creative prompts being turned into a card game. Whenever you need to combat writer's block, you'll have a creative writing prompt at the luck of the draw.
I haven't put enough time into making this project real. Someday, I will.
