Diary to data

Voluntary project with a selected group of UTS students in 2015 to visualise the diary of the Governor of New South Wales from his first year in the role. The A1 visualisations and complementary consultation report served as a decision-making tool for his three-year strategic plan. This was done comparing the ideal distribution of the governor’s attention to particular focus points with actual engagement recorded in the diary.

The project was completed with fellow UTS students Katherine Wearne (Social Inquiry / Creative Intelligence & Innovation), Tommaso Armstrong (Information Technology / Creative Intelligence & Innovation), Victoria Oh (Digital & Social Inquiry) and under the supervision of Associate Professor Louise McWhinnie, Dr Kate Sweetapple, Dr Paul Brown and Professor Jim McNamara.
