    VV/VIX is a brand that reports on relevant subjects regarding the State of Espírito Santo by bringing up the state’s history in order to understand and analyze the community scenario. For its launching, VV/VIX is releasing their first issue, the Preservation Issue, which is a reflection of local urban settings photographs approached with a mysterious touch that conduct the readers into a thought-provoking reading time, which, in this issue, is brought through the eyes of historical local poets who talk about nature in connection to our existence in a melancholy way. The issue assembles the meaning of preservation in nature, life, and soul. As VV/VIX is a pioneer in the Capixaba magazine's industry, the design is clean, elegant, and playful, providing it a multi-faced design on each issue. In VV/VIX issues, the images will always seem like they are in constant movement on the grid, so it offers a wide range of possibilities to its future collaborators to show off their work in the best way possible. The brand will focus on different topics on each issue as well as foster the proud of being Capixaba (ES born). It intends to do so by publishing modern issues with a historical aspect, and my design proposal was something between past and present by creating and dynamic grid to adjust to this and future issues as well as the brand’s stationery. The brand’s logo was created from scratch, and each typeface was selected very carefully to compose and create an exquisite yet odd feeling to the current issue. In addition to that, secondary logos and some patches were designed to be part of the brand’s universe in promotional assets. Read Less

VV/VIX is a personal and original project aiming at documenting and reporting on relevant subjects regarding the State of Espírito Santo by bringing up the state’s history in order to understand and analyze the community scenario.
