Nine months spent with the homeless youth at the Dustin Center. These people shared their lives, their struggles, hopes and dreams. Together we explored creativity through drawing, painting, telling stories, taking photos, making videos, and being honest. Their willingness to learn about themselves through their creative projects built their confidence in unexpected and beautiful ways. These are illustrations I give back to them, so they can envision their lives in safety.
