I was asked by the design society of Hallam University to present a talk and lettering workshop for their members.
In the talk I decided to include things that I wish I had done/known while I was at university, which included legal advice on how to conduct yourself as a business as well as a creative and how to be more pro-active in approaching other designers and agencies that you admire.
This was followed by a workshop I conducted in which everyone had to bring an object of their choosing to experiment with, and to embrace the approaches that they previously conceived as being "crap".
