Kersnovskaya has preserved this meaning through all her misadventure. He helped her to survive. And now it is no less relevant. Therefore, the new image should easily fi t into the modern information space, but at the same time keep in touch with the prototype. New universal image can be embodied in various materials and techniques and in museum projects.
Process...
Тhe motto was taken from the old prints Rotunda. This script combined stiff ness and laconism Gothic fonts and rhythm close to Humanistic Minuscul. The shape of characters was simplified, brought closer to the most popular contemporary sans serif fonts. Here, the Myriad Pro typeface from Carol Twombly and Robert Slimbach was taken as a pattern. As a result, the simplest version of the shape has been selected. But same elements of old letters can be recognized.
Variations...
In addition to the main one, an option was designed for stencil and for stone carving. These elements can be used independently.
Colour...
Original colours of coat of arms were blue and silver. Sky-blue in heraldry means traditionally honour, fidelity and sincerity. This colour associated with sky and freedom.
Silver was changed into white. A shade of blue was selected as Pantone 286С.
