Facade Magazine | Colorado Architecture Redefined
Magazine Brand & Publication Design

Facade Magazine was designed to focus on Colorado’s evolving architecture. The magazine is geared toward both industry professionals and other Coloradians who are particularly interested in how Colorado’s architecture is changing and is addressing the concerns of sustainability, efficiency, function, and beauty. Colors are used to distinguish the magazine’s sections from one other, while Arno Pro and Frutiger typefaces are used throughout to offer continuity and at the same time, visual beauty. The feature section is set apart through its bold use of color and photography. Photographs span spreads, while simplistic vector imagery repeats throughout individual articles. Bold color, beautiful photographs, clean serif and sans-serif typefaces, and visual repetition create visual harmony while reflecting the magazine’s modern architecture and concerns.
