Personal styling agency
For centuries women were in search of the perfect beauty. Like alchemists they were busy with experimenting with their appearance in order to find that desirable look, the absolute perfection. These experiments could even lead them to some extremes, such as corsets, wigs, using poisonous powders to pale up their skin and so on…Like real alchemists they were risking their health, spending a great amount of time in order to find the “philosopher’s stone of beauty”. Yet, the secret of female attraction remains mysterious. Nowadays the focus has switched to enlightening individuality. Women do not want to look all the same, their goal has become to find their own unique style. The alchemy of style is a personal styling agency, a team of professionals helping women to discover their very own stylistic identity, using a personal approach for each client. For this project, I’ve developed a logo inspired by the basic alchemical elements. A seria of promotional cards, using a hand drawn illustrations combining the female iconic fashion styles of different epochs with alchemical engravings and a brochure design, for which I have made slightly surrealistic collages.
