Adjective: Of, relating to, or in the form of a plane.
To me, a planar shot is one that gives a sense of flatness and at times, loss of context by reducing the effects of depth of view. Each of these shots are the beginnings of my explorations in composing photographs that appreciate the fine details of our lively built environments.
Some of these photographs may begin to draw out abstract patterns, layering, and angles. I enjoy using them on backgrounds for tablet devices due to their visual planarity!
