Compositing from Jim Beam whiskey bottle I shot in the studio. 15 exposures stacked together in Helicon Focus to cover the entire DOF needed. The splashes are bought from Photigy.com.

Light setup was four flashes and some tracing paper. Shot with Canon 5D mkIV and Canon 28mm f2.8 IS. ISO100, f11, 1/160 sec.
