After binge-watching some Mystery Science Theater 3000 on Netflix (taking a trip down memory lane), I was inspired to do this digital painting featuring original series creator Joel Hodgson, Gypsy, Tom Servo and Crow. Between the background and characters, this was about 14 total hours of work, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Classic show! I even enjoyed the newly updated "MST3K The Return" featuring many of the old characters, such as Joel himself. You can have a look at some of my process images for this painting on my blog here.
