Accessibility concepts are increasingly acknowledged as fundamental to understand the functioning of cities and urban regions. In particular, common accessibility instruments are able to provide a framework for understanding the reciprocal relationships between land use and mobility. This Cost Action creates short links between local planning practices and academic members. Through interactive workshops we attempt to close the gap between our models and planning practice.
