Cinema 4D - Prototyping
For my third and final cinema 4d workshop before christmas, we looked at how to design work for prototypes. Due to the amount of work needed to work on Jay had already drew templates on illustrator for us. This workshop was quiet difficult and I found that the amount of steps needed to follow was were people struggled, I did however enjoy leaning to tools and steps to be able to make my products in the future 3D. Even though the actual workshop was helpful and enjoyable I found that the designs weren't up to the standard I would have liked therefore after the workshop I decided to go back into the illustrations and create my own. I had already started to work on my own typography based of another brief which I thought would be a great thing to incorporate. I thought of a quick name 'Bolt' and played around with textures/backgrounds/images to create an outcome. As the work that Jay had set for us wasn't the best design work I decided in my own time to redo the design and add it as a new label. The design I went for was simple yet effective, I had already started creating my own font in my own time so decided to use that as an eye-catching typography.
