Yo Dona is a Spanish fashion magazine for women. In 2017, they commissioned Valéry to create an illustration for their Christmas issue. Featured alongside an article of the same theme, her work depicted that awkward moment when you get a gift you don’t really want. Should you be honest? Should you hide your disappointment? What a dilemma. All that aside, Valéry would like you to know that she appreciates gifts. Especially chocolate—just in case you were wondering.
