WEBGL EXPERIENCE
In December 2016 I published a book for digital creatives titled "LAUNCH IT - 300+ things I’ve learned as a Designer, Developer and Creative Director". It covers topics like work ethic, finding inspiration, creative process, skill acquisition, how to get a job, handling clients, agency life, freelance, self-promotion and work life balance. The book has sold thousands of copies and made it's way into the hands of designers & developers on 6 continents, in 60 countries and 38 states in the USA. So I decided to make an interactive WebGL Microsite to showcase the locations that I knew of from tweets, hardcover sales, and e-book sales (Amazon doesn't give specific locations). I did all of the design and development on the project in my free time outside of freelance projects.

This project is what caught the attention of SpaceX and led to me working on the SpaceX Crew Dragon Displays which changed my life.
Personal projects are VERY important.
