my work: website concept&design – social media support – communication strategy
Team Kawasaki Intermoto Ponyexpres was participating in the Supersport World Championship (World Superbike Series). And more than ever they needed modern communication with fans and sponsors.
Website – always looks different
We designed a new website which fully fulfilled the team's needs. The homepage was gathering information from all social networks of Intermoto. With smart layout, the homepage look was changing with every new article – the main background photo of the page was the cover photography of latest article. Social plugins like YouTube and Facebook had their own space in the masonry layout and were showing the latest content from social networks immediately.
Data delivery – redesigned
Photos, videos, … tonnes of data were made during every Intermoto training, race or qualifying. We needed to get and download them really fast to keep our fans updated. It was about the time to reimagine the old process of data transfer through emails and USB keychains. We designed and built simple uploader for Dropbox (request file feature wasn't available back then) so all the photographers could upload files from their computers on the race track immediately to our cloud solution.
As we've been changing the whole communication of the team, we needed a perfect promo video for presentation. We chose a race in Jerez (Spain) due to weather stability. We also hired professional camera and cut guys from Liberec. Together we've made two great videos – documentary about weekend race "circus" and a short promo video.
