The purpose of this project is to design a logo that symbolizes the Career Technical Education (CTE) of Moreno Valley (MV).

Above are the 5 sketches that were made for the sole purpose of combining the CTE with the MV and incorporating the Moreno Valley Mountain into a single coherent design (the sketch at the most left will be the one to be further developed into the finalized state).

The sharp style of the letters was selected because it is a style that I prefer to produce and making the "T" connect with the "E" is something that I also found appealing.
In addition, the "M" and subsequent "V" are also present and can be seen within the "E" if the head or image is turned 90 degrees counterclockwise.
The colors white and black were selected to add to the more harmonic and balanced state which the official Moreno Valley Tree gave with it's autumn colors. Speaking of the tree, the orange color from that was placed within the image for the banner and a faint circle that lies behind a black silhouette of the Moreno Valley mountain.
