Infographic Diptych - Feline Skin Cancer

Infographic Diptych - Feline Skin Cancer
University based project - 2017
This project facilitates the use of research strategies to collate, organise and process data into a meaningful and communicable visual information system. Information visualisation allows the simple representation of complex concepts to make it engaging, accessible and insightful to an audience. The aim of this poster is to serve as a persuasive visual argument to counter a commonly accepted notion or myth or ideology or worldview.

The misconception communicated in the infographic involves the belief that cats are not susceptible to skin cancer caused by exposure to the Sun. The first poster explains and provides solid facts on the prominence and severity of the disease in felines whilst the second poster provides further information on the signs of the cancer itself and the processes involved in treating, diagnosing, coping and preventing it.
