A New Kind of Life is a photographic experience gallery by Brian Wilson. The gallery has been designed to give the viewer the best experience possible. Auditory enhancement is practiced using elemental sounds from the four seasons. Thematically, Brian focused on the exploration and adaption to the four seasons.
A New Kind of Life started as a final photography portfolio, but took on a life of its own. Designing and developing my own virtual gallery allowed me to explore themes in a deeper way, giving the viewer a new experience altogether. The main gallery is an experience on its own, but there's more to *see* by exploring the space.
This was the first time developing a first person game, and it was exciting to say the least. I am very happy with what I've accomplished in the short development time that I had. I chose to expand the scope of the game; with that came many memorable experiences, as well as errors that had to be *fixed* or solved independently. Nonetheless, I am fortunate for the opportunity as I've had the chance to make something I'm proud of.
