ECCO : Biom Venture
BIOM NATURAL MOTION® meets GORE-TEX® SURROUND™.
The Ecco Biom Venture is a multi purpose outdoor shoe, suitable for a variety of activities and terrain. I wanted to tackle the project with a holistic approach, so every single element of the shoe was stripped back to only the essential components. It is also designed with Ecco's philosophy in mind ‘Form Follows Function’.
Packed with features, The Biom Venture is built with Ecco's anatomically designed Biom Last, engineered to follow the contours of the foot, and is combined with a flexible and lightweight seamless upper. GTX surround provides waterproofing whilst specifically designed air vents in the midsole channel air out from under the strobel footbed significantly improving breathability.
A bike pedal zone was specifically designed in the mid-foot area to improve grip whilst on the bike. 5mm Outsole cleats in the front and heel section provide excellent grip in off-road terrain whilst the anatomically beveled heel shape ensures smooth transition when walking.
