The Brand Team at Twitch took on redesigning the Data Science team's website, to breathe some life into a stale and cold website. Below is one of my favorite versions, I created before the project was canceled.
PROBLEM:
The old Data Science Team site was very cold and uninviting. The content itself didn't invite visitors to dive deeper into the site or want to join the team.
GOAL:
- Reflect the diverse background and interests of the team.
- Embrace the team culture.
- Build a site that doesn't need constant updating.
- Serve as a recruiting tool.
The intent of each div was to illustrate how data scientists have to sift through loads of seemingly random data points in order to create a cohesive story and strategy for the rest of the business.
