Behind the Mannequins, Jakarta.

Looking almost like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie.

Jakarta, Indonesia.
Pasar Sunan Giri, located in Rawamangun, East Jakarta; is a centre for cheap tailors where people go to mass produce some clothes. The night was just starting, it was 7PM during a Monday night, people were shuffling around with their measurement tape and a cigarette between their lips.
In the office.
A transaction taking place.
People were a bit surprised seeing me running around with a camera and snapping pictures, and being the awkward person that I am, I did a lot of snap-smile-and-run.
"Dilarang Kencing" = Do not piss.
A little shop open inside an abandoned billiard place.
Behind the running businesses of the evening crowd, however, I am also finding slices of life of the residences of the shops. A couple of them were playing a classic set of wooden chess and dominoes. Coffee in plastic cups, a lot of gorengan and loud laughs over gossips can be seen throughout the place.
Waiting for an opponent.
Feels like home, or is it?
As the night gets darker, we went and left the market. I was exhausted, as was most people.
It was a good way to get to know my own city.
