Tomatl is a line of tomato products for the fictitious shop vita. The extraordinary thing about the line is that it only uses old types of tomatoes. I wanted a package design that has an old and used look but still looks modern, so I combined illustrations made in Illustrator with handmade potato-print structures. The objects containing the products are made of reusable materials that could be brought back to the shop to be refilled.

Tomatl bezeichnet eine Serie von Produkten für den fiktiven vita-Shop. Das Außergewöhnliche an diesen Produkten ist, dass nur alte Sorten verwendet werden. Um der Verpackung ein etwas altes und gebrauchtes Aussehen zu verleihen habe ich im Illustrator erstellte Illustrationen mit einer handgemachten Kartoffeldruck Struktur versehen. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind wiederverwendbar und könnten im Geschäft wiederbefüllt werden.
