Keeping Still is a collaborative work with Poetry International: the Broadside Archives. The poem I chose to design a poster for was Keeping Still by Pablo Neruda and was translated from Spanish by Dan Bellm. This poem focuses on people to stop focusing on hurting others because of disagreements, to take a break and to get to know each other. If people could do that instead of creating wars the would would become a happier place. For my side of the collaboration I focused on creating an illustration that reflected two people watching the earth in the still yet the peaceful ever changing setting of the heavens. Then arranged the poem typographically as it follows the flow of the clouds.
