At the end of 2015, C&G Partners approached me with this project for Museum of the Bible. They were thinking of illustrating the history of the bible in America with scratchboard style and eventually turning the drawings into giant tapestry murals as permanent display at the museum. It took us 19 months to finish 9 panels of tapestry murals. Here are the first 3 panels.
