the situation: Develop and create a publication discussing a topic that is relevant and important to your individual life.
the solution: “feminineSHIFT.” is the culmination of what I would most like to see in a women-centered political magazine. Featuring discussion surrounding the leading ladies of our current political world, as well as tips on how to run for office, “feminineSHIFT.” is my publication solution to an editorial world dominated by male interests. Through a simple color palette and a clean grid system, "feminineSHIFT." seeks to bring information and power to women across the United States following a blow in the 2016 election cycle. I chose to work with this topic as I feel there is an overload of information, and sorting it in a thoughtful way would be a challenge. I elected to use only the color green because it is not affiliated with either of the two major U.S. political parties and could not be attributed to either.
