KASHMIR DIARIES
I started my project by clicking and compiling 10 photos of my locality that depicted the everyday life in the area and its people.
The photos I chose for this project were:
MOOD BOARD
Later I chose this picture as my inspiration or mood board from the above 10 pictures because the art work of Kashmir inspires me a lot.As in this picture chinar motifs are used for carving in a beautiful way.So I used chinar motifs,colour of glass,texture of glass for making the compostion of my concept board.
CONCEPT BOARD
Keywords I derive from the mood board are chinar motifs,glossy.shiny,smooth,copper,blackish.By using these key words I made A2 composition in which elements from the mood board are taken to make the concept board.After that I made 10 textures on A3 sheets using different techniques or materials.Then I cut the A3 sheets into equal stripes and weaved them into paper weaves by plain, basket and twill weave.
COLOR BOARD
Color board is created by taking the colours which were used in concept board.
MATERIAL BOARD
Material board is created by taking materials which were used for making 10 different textures.
