South African Hip Hop culture has become an important platform on which South African, echo their voices, hardships and formulate their identities. As part of the research I conducted on How South African Hip hop culture transcends cultural differences amongst South African youths, this series of artworks seeks to reveal the importance of this culture in bringing together youths from varying backgrounds traditions and cultures. Within this series I was looking at the characteristics of South African Hip hop - language, style fashion and acknowledging the importance of this culture in the lives of the youths  from the Kasi (township) and the suburbs.
