During my internship at King James, I had the opportunity to work on the Sanlam 2-minute showers campaign. It was an incredible experience to see how things work in the industry. I also was able to construct a concept for the Sanlam radio spots for this campaign. It was a tight brief. The agency had almost run out of time and money to produce spots, which is why I proposed using some of the existing interview soundbites and vocal recordings they had to construct them. It was fantastic to see how my concept came to life and aired the next week. These radio spots focused on creating intrigue for the 2-minute shower songs by using clean vocals coupled with the artists take on the 2-minute challenge. It then encouraged listeners to download the songs off the website.
