LEGO Ninjago: The Shadow of Ronin

Fight and Flight: LEGO Ninjago - Shadow of Ronin

Ninjago is a beloved TV show with an incredibly devoted fan base, so we thought why not watch every episode, and add a whole new (playable) series to this. Enter: Shadow of Ronin, a game packed to the rafters with incredible level design, and my favourite mechanic of all: Spinjitzu - the level designers dream.

Input: Level Design - Chens Palace, The Vault of Fire, The Vault of Ice
Hub Design - Ninjago Island Open World
Mechanics Design: Dragon Flight System

Bitesize Levels - Chens Palace

I must have been really hungry the day that I designed this one. There are 3 Spinjitzu pads, with 3 wheels. The aim of the puzzle was to spin on those pads to make the wheels rotate in order for the food items to line up and match the dish on the picture. Line up the correct dish, and if you pulled the lever to the right, your delicious creation popped out of the dumbwaiter on ready to be fed to the maniacal-but-only-because-he's-hungry Master Chen. Line up the wrong ingredients, and Chen would fling your amateur cooking right into the trash.
