Project (Problem) 3: Design a Magazine Cover in Adobe Photoshop

Solution: I created a design for a pet magazine cover that also draws the attention of consumers that are into home decor magazines. I designed the runner above the magazine title myself and used the basic outline from my project 1 cereal box marshmallow bones. I tried to use a mix of cool and warm colors, and not over-fill the cover with article titles. I thought the stamp on the bottom right corner was a nice touch for a dog magazine cover. I also did the extra credit assignment for this project, which was designing a mobile layout of an article from the magazine.

Results: I received an A on both of these projects, some feedback I received on the magazine cover was that the shadows on the dog's snout needed to be lightened. Also, the text in the mobile layout needed to be larger and stretch from one side to the other to be more mobile friendly and readable.
