Adobe Photoshop Magazine Cover

This is my attempt at an original magazine cover. The title of said magazine was Aero-Dynamic Monthly, which is an original name. From my research into competition it was popular for the title to be manipulated toward have a wing attached to one of the letters which is why I altered multiple letters to have longer edges, to create a more subtle wing of my own that looks recognizable while at the same time as unique when compared to other Mastheads. To help this magazine look the part of a sellable product I followed my research's advise to use "red and yellow" to help sell. I made all the unique parts I wanted to sell red or yellow. I made the Masthead red which is an obvious choice since that is the first thing I want to sell and so is the main articles title: "5 Top Airshow Thrills". After those I made sure to sell the most important parts as follows: my research shows that arrows as part of a list help concentrate the readers eyes, so I made this yellow to help sell this while providing something different from the main title. The other parts that I wanted to make sure was sellable was the number that headed each sub-articles. This probably also will help focus the readers eye and according to my research what sells on magazine covers are numbers. I made sure that when the reader looks at my magazine cover they see everything that they would be interested in reading and that it is pleasant to look at these objects. Overall I think that my magazine cover is fun, original, and market friendly piece of work.
