People of the forest
Orangutan means "person of the forest" in Malaysian, they are the big ape species that spend most time in the trees, 90% of their life actually. They are endemic of the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra but their habitat is as thought being destroyed as the tropical forests are being illegally burned and logged to produce palm oil. Orangutans are in critical danger and might be extinct within 10 years from now.
