Project: Design a Logo for a Superhero's Costume (template for class)
Goals & Project Requirements
We were asked to create a logo that could be worn by a new character in the upcoming sequel to The Incredibles. Our logo should be believable as something our character would wear, so the personality and superpowers of our character were important considerations.

Planning
Here are some preliminary sketches and some brainstorming notes that I made while starting to arrive at a logo design. These were done in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.
Research
Once I realized I wanted to incorporate a snake in the logo design, I researched snakes and created a Pinterest board with images I might use to inform my design. Here's a screenshot of my board.

Logo Design in Illustrator
Here are some screenshots showing my process... (label each one with any helpful comments)
Peer Reviews
I asked the following peers to critique my work: 1,2,3. They mentioned that I should simplify my design somewhat to be more in keeping with a logo, so here are some redesign screenshots showing how I incorporated a few changes based on their suggestions. (Note what they suggested and how you addressed it.)

Final Design
Here is the final design... I did x,y,z because a,b,c... etc.
Here is my color scheme with hex codes... (Include an Adobe color screenshot.)
Here are shots showing the design in grayscale and in large and small sizes...
Here is a screenshot showing how I organized my project files...
Reflection
I enjoyed this project because it gave me the opportunity to learn Illustrator skills, and I know I'll be doing more logo designs using this software in the future.
Here's a quick video I made about this process...
