One of the assignments we had in our Rendering class was to realistically paint an animal in acrylics. We had to find photo reference, transfer the image in graphite onto illustration board and then paint the animal. We had two of these to complete over the semester. I chose a rooster as my first project and a very cute hedgehog as my second. Below are the results.
