Assembled by two types of materials, The 1st material used for the horizontal sections ( the planar section) is non-elastic Plywood. While the 2nd material is used for the vertical sections (the spiral shaped sections) is an elastic plywood material to allow the spiral strips to bend around the lantern. The bending is calculated so as not to pass the breaking point of the used material.
