7 Deadly Sins -- Fabric Patterns

The Project

Presented with the project of creating patterns based off the 7 deadly sins, my goal was to create something pleasing to the eye (as the 7 deadly sins often present themselves in life). Each flower I chose to illustrate poses a threat to nature or reflects the nature of the sin itself, for example: the Cobra Lily and Venus Fly Traps are carnivorous plants, consuming any bug unfortunate enough to cross their paths, poison ivy causes an angry rash, and roses, though beautiful, have thorns that can cut flesh and draw blood.

These illustrations were created as patterns, and having them in a format such as fabric allows the patterns to be seen in full.
