paper play packaging

People who have been to Japan must sure remember walking along the street with lots of nicely designed packaging of gift boxes. And when you decided to buy one or more, they will offer you a paper bag or even more, in case you bought them for someone else back in your country (or city if you reside in Japan).

If you notice, most Japanese (food) gift is packed in a plastic seal, inside a cardboard box, and wrapped with wrapping paper. But it isn't necessary I would say, so why not just a plastic seal for food quality control and hygiene, and a paper bag for bringing it around? The look is not professional could be the reason no shop has ever done that.

Therefore with this "paper play" packaging project, I hope the overuse of packaging wrapper trend will soon be over. "Paper play" is a gift box and paper bag combined together, made without glue.
These packagings were made with one piece of A3 size paper and one side printing, save the cost, save the earth!
