Jovanotti is the stage name of Lorenzo Cherubini, who has been combining hip hop, rock and roll, funk and Italian folk music since the early 90's. Penlight and ajpen have provided lighting design on four separate tours from 2010 through 2016.

The "2015cc" tour was twofold: During the summer, Jovanotti played to 60,000 seat stadiums while during the fall and winter months a separate yet compatible design was devised to continue the tour indoors in the more intimate Palasport venues.
