Series of patterned book covers

Here is the series of book covers based on repeated pattern. Each one is uncommon and based on the story of its book. I challenged myself and used three fundamentally different techniques.
"Sea of Death" is a story about life in Brazilian fishing village. There, brave men used to go to the open sea daily with no certainty in returning home, and the only women's destiny was just waiting their spouses and hope for better days, when they could have other life's paths except prostitution or homemaking. This story feels like ballade, and is full of passions, free spirit and mysticism.
Crushed boat at the bottom of the cover means death of one of the main characters, which feels like something common and almost unnoticed. Actually, this pattern is not truly repeated, but is made of slightly transformed similar elements, mixed in different order, which make it look more like scenery instead of bare design.
Characters from Palahniuk's stories are famous for obsessions and mental disorders. This pattern is a reference to Helen Hoover Boyle, a real-estate agent. She always wears total pink look and regularly spoils antique furniture items to collect them with huge discount. In addition, general cover view reminds of children's books, such as main subject of the story – deadly "Poems and Rhymes Around the World".
In my opinion, this template may be useful for entire series of most famous King's books, because of patterns, that speak for themselves and classic writing style for his initials, popular for fiction novels.
