Summer 2017, 17th of July till the end of August: 100 Posters for Crete.
Τhe 100 Posters for Crete exhibition by Omen Art Shop, took place at the Firka Fortress, the Venetian harbor of Chania, Crete. A graphic exhibition that stands out with its originality and charity action, which was organized with much love and passion by Vassilis Pitsonis.
The exhibition aimed at highlighting graphic design as an artistic expression and a way of promoting a place like Crete. All money raised (a considerable amount) was given to the NGOs "ELEPAP of Chania" and "Horizon" for their charitable activities.

Στο Φρούριο Φιρκά, στο Ενετικό λιμάνι των Χανίων πραγματοποιήθηκε η έκθεση 100 Posters for Crete από το Omen Art Shop. Μία γραφιστική έκθεση που ξεχωρίζει με την πρωτοτυπία της και την φιλανθρωπική της δράση, την οποία επιμελήθηκε με πολλή αγάπη και μεράκι ο Vassilis Pitsonis.
Η έκθεση είχε σαν στόχο την ανάδειξη της γραφιστικής ως καλλιτεχνική έκφραση και μέσο προβολής ενός τόπου όπως η Κρήτη. Τα έσοδα αυτής (μαζεύτηκε ένα σεβαστό ποσό) δώθηκαν στις ΜΚΟ "ΕΛΕΠΑΠ Χανίων" και "Ορίζοντα" για τις φιλανθρωπικές τους ενέργειες.
It was my honor to participate with this poster, and I am delighted to have worked with Αίγη Ακριβού who wrote this "mantinada" (poem in cretan dialect) exclusively for the poster.

It is a poem written with the cretan dialect, these poems are called "mantinada".
A free translation would be: "Into the maze of the earth there are Minoan palaces,

only at Crete island eyes are filled with light".
