A graduation booklet for 9 autonomous students from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design who graduated in july 2012.
The assignment was to create an original design wich combined the 9 different artists. The students have nothing in common with each other, so the challenge was to combine everything through the design.
We ended up with an old archive based style. The colors we used (green and orange) are found on old portfolio folders and documents folder in the 60s and 70s used by governments.
The overall cover we made is made out of plain gray cardboard with a black photopolymer press on it.
It has a slight structure on it. All the frontpages of the mini booklets inside have a label look on it.
The content of the booklet is a foreword, and a word of thank and 9 individual projectbooks. The whole content is bounded together with a thick elastic.
Limited edition of 250 pieces.
