University of Johannesburg BA Industrial Design Third Year Project:
The Kreg STRETCH clamp was designed as part of our third year exam project. This bootstrap poster details the process of designing the clamp and interacting with users to gain feedback for development. The outcome of the project is an innovative bar clamp that can be completely disassembled and transported as well as assembled to create any length. The clamp is useful for holding pieces of wood or metal parallel a certain distance apart or for holding large frames. All metal parts are either strong cast steel or machined stainless steel. Plastic parts are glass-filled Nylon injection moulded parts.
