Photo Collage - Photoshop

This project was to make a photo collage on Photoshop.
The first thing I had to do was sketch out the idea that I would present. Then take the photos I needed for the collage. I tried to tell a story, almost of the journey to CVTC. It includes going up those stairs to the bridge, across the bridge and into the building, to me deciding what major I want to do and in the next picture choosing Digitial Marketing. I am then seen with a CVTC like button in hand on my first day as a DM student. It shows me in the library and walking the halls to class. And the final picture is of a hand pinning a picture of graduation and the CVTC diploma.

First I put a background on it that looks like a white wall of a house. After I took my pictures I shaped out several squares and tried to give them an off white appearance like that of our old pictures from the 90s. I pasted pictures in my squares and put them in their designated location and grouped each picture so I could keep them connected. A couple of the pictures I also laid out the newer picture way. I also quick selected out one of the CVTC info boards with  the marketing information. I did have to use adobe illustrator to vector out my pins that I used to pin the pictures on the wall. I also used it to vector the CVTC logo to put on the picture as well as warped it in a way that it fit on the diploma. I also quick selected out my thinking man. Finally, I added text to the project to give credit to the photographers. The main principle used was the rule of thirds as can be seen in the pictures of myself.
